“I am enormously excited and humbled to be appointed to this important role. I am all too aware what a difficult act Revd Dr Jack Dyce will be to follow. But I am sustained by the knowledge that both Synod and College carry embedded habits of heart, mind and soul which can carry us all forward in freshness and faithfulness. I am not sure that anyone could ask for more than an opportunity to gain from, and give to, a learning community such as this.
“There is a nimbleness, a lightness and a sense of openness for which the Scottish College and the Synod is known and I am really looking forward to being a part of that.
